ABOUT

JESAJA HIZKIA (1987) HOLLAND

AFTER STUDYING GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR TWO YEARS IN AMSTERDAM, HE STARTED LEARNING AND DISCOVERING PHOTOGRAPHY FOR HIMSELF WITHOUT ANY EXPERIENCE. HE LEARNED PHOTOGRAPHY ON THE STREETS, “THAT IS THE BEST PLACE TO LEARN THE TRADE”, TRYING TO GET AS CLOSE TO PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE WITHOUT AFFECTING THE ENVIRONMENT. CAPTURING A VARIETY OF OBJECTS IN ARBITRARY PLACES WHERE SHADOW AND LIGHT MEET AND WHERE LINES PROVIDE THE FRAME. TODAY HIS WORK CAN BE DESCRIBED AS MINIMALISTIC. AN ECCLECTIC MIX OF COLORFUL SHAPES, PEOPLE, OBJECTS AND STREET SCENES FROM PLACES ALL OVER THE WORLD. HE DERIVES HIS INSPIRATION FROM THE CONTEMPORARY.
